February is grinding to a close. March awaits us, with three major activities scheduled for our club. These activities are the March 1 Younkers’ Commun-ity Day sale, the March 8 Chili and Chicken Noodle Soup Supper, and the March 14 Annual Lions Awards Banquet.
I would like to thank everyone who sold or purchased Community Day packets. We have collected over $ 300.00, and we have qualified for a share of the packet sales by Younkers’ staff members. This will be a nice “extra” for our charity budget.
Don’t forget to sign up to work at the Chili Supper. And please remember that baked goods will be a welcome addition to our menu. Jan Federer and Pat Gourley have done another great job organizing the supper, so help support them by selling your ticket allotment.
